Direct Express 'Invalid Card Number'

So I'm hoping this is just something to do with today being the day most people get paid but when I call up direct express and put in my number it immediately says my card number is invalid. It worked fine a few days ago.

Is this something that happens or should I be worried?

Hi there,
I'm sorry, but I do not know the reason as to why your card isn't working! If you try again and it isn't working, I would contact Direct Express or the SSA to see if there was a reason why there is a pause on your account.

Hi Amy,
There may be many reasons why it is not on your card! For example, it could be a loss of eligibility, or possibly a clerical error at the SSA. However, I cannot say for sure why as we are not affiliated with the SSA.

It may be a good idea to confirm that the card has not been reported stolen or that it is still otherwise an active card.

You can get an original Social Security card or a replacement card if yours is lost or stolen. There is no charge for a Social Security card. This service is free. You can use a my Social Security account to request a replacement Social Security card:https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/

I was rob of my card 2005 Hollywood ca greyhound station my money was stolen and the person is hinder me from Moving forward the women and man is guilty not only of identity theft butcheck cashing in other stated this will be resolve by my lawyer and court

Is there a way I can get my card info, through email? I have bills that are due by today. I left my card back at home and I went out of town for acouple of days añd un trying to pay my bills online but don't know my card info by hearts yet,

I would recommend speaking to a SSA representative 1-800-772-1213, they may be able to give you that information over the phone.

I been receiving SSI for 10 years then today my direct deposit was never made to direct express..what reason would ssa stop my benefits with no warning

Chances are thry sent you a new card. You either did not recieve it or your using the old one by mistake. Happened to me, Forgot about the new card and accidently was using the old one.
