Received a letter after denial

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I was denied my social security benefits two years ago. I received a letter a few days ago that said they was redetermining my eligibility. I called and they said it was an error in determining my eligibility. I'm wondering if there was an error in determining my eligibility and I was denied, do that mean I may be eligible for my disability?

No update on reconsideration but Payee Letter received.

I'm on the reconsideration phase after an initial denial. Usual update, then a quality check, then "medical decision has been made", still processing...but today I received a letter indicating they require me to identify a Payee to handle by SocSec Benefits. Is this a fairly good indication that I have been or will be approved?

SSA-820 net earnings

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I'm filling out the SSA-820 self employment activity report. I work occasionally as a writing instructor.

The form asks for dates worked and net earnings. I don't know what my net earnings are. I won't know until I file my taxes. Should I put gross income, then note in the comments section that it's the gross?
