Marfan syndrome
I have Marfan syndrome and suffered an aortic dissection of the descending aorta, 1st and 2nd layers. My doctor said no work, stress or worry. They have not been able to fix all of my dissection and I have to keep my blood pressure 110 or below. Should that qualify me for social security disability? I am 59.

If your doctor says you can't
If your doctor says you can't work and is willing to fill out the proper paperwork then you should be able to draw your ssdi. Your age should also be in your favor as well. My understanding is the closer you are to retirement age the easier it should be for you and with the doctor and I guess depending on the health issues, you really should apply!
