My son is about to turn 18 in March 2021. He has autism. I have applied to disability 3 times in his life and have been denied all 3 times because I make more money than allowed. When he turns 18, I will have Continued Guardianship of him. Will he qualify for SSI/SSDI upon reaching age 18 despite my cont guardianship? When should I apply for him? Will his benefit be the standard monthly benefit or is it based on my work record ?
