I’ve been researching the internet in regards to thyroid dysfunction and came across Blue Book 14.07, Part C. Doesn’t most hypothyroidism fall into the autoimmune category? I’m curious as to whether a serious thyroid impairment might fall under an autoimmune disorder. Also, I am under the the impression that this condition might affect a person’s mental condition, in addition to their physical condition, making it fall into a medical disorder category rather than mental or physical alone. Thoughts?
