I received a letter saying that my expected wages were going to be $1,843 for April which will cause me to have my benefits lowered by $126 starting June That was not true.. How can they make up a number without asking my wages for the month.. It was $300 less than they estimated. Any experience with this?

If you've recently started a job, they may adjust your benefits based on your earnings. I would reach out to the SSA to follow up and find out exactly why they made the determination they did.
