Washington State Social Security Disability Benefits

If you apply for disability in Washington, your claim will be reviewed by the Disability Determination Services (DDS) located in Washington state. Their office information can be found above. 

Disability claims that are denied in the state of Washington can file an appeal. You can file a "Request for Reconsideration" to appeal your denial. You must submit the request within 60 days of receiving your denial. 

In Washington, if you Request for Reconsideration is denied, you can then file an appeal again. You will then need to visit an SSA hearing office in Washington.
