can a permanently disabled child recieve ssdi if parent has enough work credits? My son has previously been on SSI and when I returned to work his benefits were discontinued Gelinlik. His dr. said that he should be able to get SSDI and if I were able to work for a period of time, that wouldnt affect his benefits.
