Does SS supply a recipient with a social worker? I need to take advantage of all the resources that are out there for people like my sister who needs 24 around the clock care. She has cerebral palsy and is mentally ill with the mindset of a 4 month old. I currently need an electronic stairway chair since i have 2 herniated discs and i cant carry her 80lb dead weight body anymore. she has medicaid via ssi but it only covers the chair partially. being a low income family i would need help to complete the monies needed to get and have the chair installed. And i also want to take advantage of any programs that the state of nj has for people like my sister.
