My ex-wife and I have been divorced since 2006. She has been on disability benefits since 2005. In the divorce I received full custody of our son. In fact, he has never met her or knows she exist. Even though she has no custody, she still receives SSI disability payments in his name. Is this legal? I didn't ask for or want any child support. I was just wondering if she had any legal reason to be receiving this money when it was actually meant for his support.
