I have only been on ssi for 2 years, I am a 54 year old woman, right now I am homeless, literally on the street, my husband whom was using my address and I did not know caused me to have my benefit amount reduced, thus I have lost my apartment and an address, a place to receive mail. the attorney who won my case is really not doing much to help. this started as I said my husband was using my address for his income tax refund, he did not trust his roommate and I really thought nothing of it at the time. I am unable to rent a po box and will try general delivery, as I say I am on the street, occasionally I stay with a friend whom is also on ssi but I cannot use her address for mail.
any thoughts?
