SSDI and transition to 'Regular' SS

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I am receiving SSDI, and chose to also receive 'early' SS benefits at age 62 instead of waiting until full retirement age. I understand my SSDI plus my SS is paying what I would have expected to receive at age 65 under 'regular' SS. My question is, when I do turn 65 and SSDI transitions over to regular SS, will this be at the 'early SS' rate of age 62, or will it be at the 'regular' SS rate of age 65? (Which would leave the monthly amount unchanged.) I am permanently disabled, so not worried about any future redesignation of status.
