I applied for social security disability a February 11, 2020. I was approved on September 29, 2020. My approval letter state they found me disable on September 29 and my benefits will become effective February 2021. They also filed an application on my behalf for SSI to cover me until I start receiving my SSDI. My question is whether I’m entitled to backpay for the period between my application and my approval date minus the five months waiting.
