I am considering applying for disability due to severe back issues that have hampered me for 20 plus years. Within the last two years the condition has worsened and is now affecting my ability to stand, walk, sit and sleep. I now find myself relying more and more on a cane to assist with some mobility. I have not worked for the last two years and fear that any job I am able to acquire will be severely impacted by my back condition.
