i'm 64, on ssdi: worker at ss said i'm getting full retirement amount now, when i turn 66, social security administration will automatically change my 'label' to retirement, that i'll get the same amount i'm getting now: does anyone know if this is true ? only one worker told me this; thanks

Hi there,
You may not have a change in benefits once you convert to retirement benefits beyond the change in what the benefits are called.

Hi there,
if you started receiving retirement benefits at 62, you may be subject to any penalties for early retirement.
