Direct Deposit

I currently receive SSI for my middle son, it comes to me in the form of a check. How do I get this to be direct deposit into my checking account?

Hi Jeff,
I really could not say, it's probably a good idea to contact a local SSA office regarding this as they'd be able to give you detailed information about your case.

i didn't get my benefits today. Because i recently changed my payee so i called them and ask them why and when I'm going to get my benifits and they told me that my old payee would get my check and she would have to send it back and with in two months i would receive novembers payment and then late november would receive benefits threw dd but my old payee doesn't live in the same state so where would the check go and ever get back to ss i hope this make sense just don't understand things and what to do

Hi Joshua,
The check would be with your old payee, the SSA would send that money to them for them to send back.

Hi Kathy,
You may want to contact the SSA regarding this, but it's a good idea to make sure that your new account is receiving benefits before closing your old one.
