Can your children be taken if you're disabled

Probably a paranoid question but if you qualify for disability as a single parent can your child be taken from you? My prior jobs have all been childcare related. I know am suffering from fibromyalgia and extreme anxiety. Basically to be approved for disability I need to prove that I can't do the work I used to do (taking care of children) while still taking care of my own child at home. With my own it is different, I can take lots of breaks and rest. She understands that I am in pain and can't do certain things. I just am very worried that they would accuse me of not being able to take care of my own child if I can't work in childcare anymore. Writing it out, it sounds silly to me but it's still a lingering fear.

Hi there,
Your children would not be taken from you simply because of disability, proving that you are unable to take care of other people's children does not necessarily preclude you from taking care of your own.
