Hi there,
I really could not say if they will inherit any conditions you may have, as I am not a doctor.

Hi there,
If she is unable to work due to complications with her stature, then she may be eligible for benefits. However, just being of shorter stature does not mean someone is eligible for benefits.

Hi Deborrah,

Little People of America (LPA) defines dwarfism as a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" or shorter.

Eric

Hi Tasha,
If your stature impacts your ability to work, you may still be able to receive disability benefits. Your height would not have an impact on the SSA's determination.

My question is I'm 4'6 barely.I have asthma attacks and hyper thyroid gland and panic attacks. And probably osteoporosis And over weight I'm trying to lose the weight.I have looked for a long time for a job so far nothing because of my height I also get shortness of breath when I walk to much and back pain when I stand for a long time
