My account has said the below starting on 10/27 and has not changed. I did rec'd a fully favorable decision and have been told it is at the processing center.
Anyone have this message how long until it updated to show approved ? How long until your benefits started ?

HI there,
You may want to contact the SSA regarding this, but if you were awarded benefits you would receive a letter stating so in the next few months.

I also received the following status update:
"Appeal Under Review

A medical decision has been made and we are working to process your decision. A Social Security Representative may contact you or your appointed representative directly if we need any additional documents or information."
Why would they tell me that a decision has been made and not tell me just what the decision was? Like Favorable or Unfavorable?

Hi John,
I really could not say when your letter would arrive as we are not affiliated with the SSA and we would not have this information. Generally you would receive a letter after being officially approved.

Hi There,

They are in the process of writing your decision and you should be receiving a decision in the near future. Best of luck!

Thanks.. I called today and they said I should receive a letter this week... I'm nervous next I'm getting a answer so soon so I'm thinking I might be denied however I have been waiting 8 months since my hearing.

Hi Donna,

Every case is different so I can't give a definitive time. Typically your lawyer will find out if your were approved or denied before you are, so you can contact your lawyer to find out more information.

Hearing on 8/2/18 verbally approved by the judge , called the 800 number and they couldn’t tell me the decision. I’m so panicking as I’m 3 months late in my mortgage. What does this means and if the judge approved it can anyone overturned his decision, my lawyer was there present at my hearing. Please someone enlight me with any information that might know about this long process. Thanks

Hi Nia,

I would contact your lawyer and see if they have heard the decision. They often hear the decision for your case before you. Best of luck!

It means that your case is still pending, but you should be hearing a decision in the near future. Best of luck!

Hi Art,

So sorry! It may be that you do not have enough work credits for SSDI. Your denial letter should explain why you were denied.

What does this mean look like i maybe approved if it was a denial they would not need any additional information right?
