I need a copy of my SSDI stating that decision has not been determined. Still waiting for the decision from the court.

Hi Ellen,

We aren't affiliated with the SSA so we wouldn't be able to do that. You should contact the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 and speak with a representative from there.

What does this mean? A medical decision has been made and we are working to process your decision. A Social Security Representative may contact you or your appointed representative directly if we need any additional documents or information.

Hi Nancy,

It really depends on the situation. Your lawyer if you have one will be able to give you a better understanding, because Social Security lawyers are paid first before the claimants.

Check online and it said that a decision has been made on my ssd claim and that a decision for ssi was denied. What could this mean

Hi There,

It means that you were not approved to receive SSI benefits. However, it is always possible to re-apply and try again.

Best of luck!

Your appeal for Disability benefits is currently processing.
What does this exactly mean?

How do you appeal a claim. Received denial today. Benign brain tumor in a spot that the will not touch, spinal fusion L2 to S1, nerve sleeves tumor also in spine , balance issues and leg numbness. I was told most are denied first time. But the reason listed on my decision letter stated that I can still walk, stand and carry so I don't meet the requirements. So maybe if I get lucky the spot in my brain will grow.

Hi Mary,

To appeal a denied claim, you will need to submit a request for reconsideration within 60 days of your denial notice.

Hi Jenay,

It's neither a good or a bad thing. Pending means that the SSA is still reviewing your case. If they need any more documents from you they will reach out. Best of Luck!

Hi Thomas,

Congrats on being approved! You should receive money into your direct deposit. You should contact your attorney in the near future to see if they received payment as well. The SSA always pays legal fees to the SSA first.

Hi There,

It's doesn't mean that you are approved or denied. They are still processing your claim. Best of luck!
