SSDi states it is still processing the medical portion of my claim and it’s been since 10/2019. Is that a good thing or bad thing since it’s taking so long?
It seems like there are still reviewing your medical information to determine if you are eligible for disability benefits.
I received a letter saying that I was considered medically disabled and that they were reviewing the non medical issues? Not sure what this means. Thnx
It means that they have made a decision on if you medically qualify for benefits. They are now likely deciding if you have enough work credits or are under the income limits.

I checked my status online and they say they can't access my records right know what does this means
It may be that they don't have permission to access your records. I would call the SSA to make sure there isn't anything they are missing from you.
The social security page said they are received medical and the case is under review what is the mean ?
I recently applied for widows benefits and I called and they said my case was being prossed, what does that mean?

So I applied 3-25-20. About a week ago my account said a medical decision has been made and we are working to process your benefit application. Then yesterday I logged in and I clicked on the link that says decision made, and it said a decision has been made and we will send a letter with a detailed explanation. Also my account now has all types of estimates and it says you have enough work credits. Your benefit amount would be $××× if you were disabled today. Why are all these SS estimates on there when they weren't before? I guess I'm denied since the link didn't say approved??
The letter you should be receiving soon will explain if you were approved or denied!
What does it mean when it say's
"The Disability Determination Service for your state is processing the medical portion of your benefit application. If they need additional information or evidence from you, they will contact you directly" online when i check my account?

How long does it take for a approve
The SSA can take about 3-5 months to make a decision on your case.
A Decision Has Been Made On Your Hearing Request
Your claim for Disability benefits has been denied. A notice has been sent to you with a detailed explanation of the decision.
I am sorry to hear that. Luckily you have the ability to appeal a decision by the SSA. If you are not already working with an attorney, I would highly recommend connecting with one here (https://www.disability-benefits-help.org/form/free-disability-evaluation). Working with an attorney can greatly increase your chances of success.

it does not say if denied or approved but yesterday it did not show my estimated benefits amount and when i click on the download your statement it shows my date of birth does this indicate i was probably denied?
I would not read too much into this status, you will not be able to know for sure until you receive the notice. Best of luck!

I was denied Social Security (Disability) but still waiting on SSI (Disability). If they denied SSD am I to assume I will be denied SSI?
There are two different sets of criteria used for SSDI and SSI. SSDI deals only with your condition and work history. SSI is based on financial need. I would not assume that a denial of one means a denial of the other.
I'm 55 with degenerative arthritis, had a double knee replacement back in 2011, know it's in my hands and my feet have problems. I've applied for SS Disability it's in for quality review, what do you personally think my chances are in receiving SSD.
Arthritis is a qualifying condition, so as long as you meet the Blue Book listing and have enough work credits, you may qualify for SSDI.
Hi! I was wondering what it means I called to check on my claim and the automated service said a decision was made and i would get a explanation letter in the mail! Is this Good or Bad?
This is neither good nor bad. This just means that you should be receiving your decision shortly.
My online status is pending but I’m gonna receive a determination letter in the mail today! Why my online status won’t let me know or approved or not
The letter should state whether you were approved or denied!
Website says A medical decision has been made and we are proessing your benefit appliation. So I called them and was told I have been found to be disabled but couldnt tell me if i as approved. Any thoughts?
The SSA may now be looking to see if you meet the other requirements. For SSDI, this would be having enough work credits and for SSI you will need to be within specific income limits.
I log in and says that a desion has been made they are working on the benefit part what does that mean.
There are a couple of steps to make a decision on the disability benefits process. This means that they are in the process of determining your benefits and you should receive something in the mail when your final decision has been made.
My ssi portion is gone under my name. It use to say initial and processing.
My social security disability still say processing but determination is still under review. So is this a good thing?
It means that your claim is still being processed to see if you qualify for disability benefits. I could continue to monitor this to make sure the SSA does not request any more information!
