return to work?
I have recently been tested for my condition by my own PCP and found to be much improved....
1. How best do I contact SSD?
2. Will I loose all benefits/medical upon telling them this?

who can I contact to see if me ex-wife applied for disability for my son? She won't tell me. So I don't know for sure. We have joint decision making. We live in Michigan.
is it against the rules for a person receiving ss? to have there own apartment, but his,her mother has had a knee replacement and needs persons help, for a while, but has own apt under section 8,in order to make sure the apt being lived in,can the person receiving s s can let his daughter stay at said apt,to make suer it is safe and not broken into,,as far as the landlord is concerned it would be ok,is there any rule ggainst this???as i stated it would be fine with land lord, what about social security?
I currently recieve SSDI due to a disability. I also have medicare...and have no need for any other insurance. If I get married to a working man, would I be required to take his healthcare insurance through his employer? Or could I keep my medicare/medicaid...and him his single plan?
My wife got a job offer in missippi.I live in IL.
It on the boarder of tennese.
will my benfits change?
which state is better to move to?

Are SSDI payments subject to state and federal taxes? And if so, how do I have them deducted?
It seems most disability cases are more or less permanent so I haven't been able to find much on exactly what happens when you return to work.
I was fortunate enough to be able to return to work after nearly 24 months of being disabled. I still have memory issues but it has been continuing to get better as more time goes by.
So I finally get the doctor's ok to go back to work and the employer was satisfied with it. I now know about the TWP (trial work period) where I continue to get SSDI benefits for 9 months after returning to work.
I am on SSDI and my daughter and granddaughter live with me. I used to collect for my children (2) until they graduated high school and now my daughter just moved back home with her daughter and the father disappeared and she gets no support and her only income is from a part time job, most of which goes to buying baby stuff. I pay all of the bills including food and was wondering if I can collect for my granddaughter as I am the one keeping a roof over her head.
I have full custody of a grand child with this condition, because her mother took drugs during pregnancy. Is she eligible for benefits? I am the grand father, and her parents are not in the equation. By that I mean they are not working or have not worked, to have any time built up in ssa.
thanks terry d
I am desperate. I just learned that I received Fully Favorable Decision years ago and soon to be 65. I just learned that because I was offered SS under former spouse and took it, I can no longer receive Medicaid.
Is there any way possible that I can reestablish this help? Please.
