Income during application process

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

my husband has significant medical conditions that i feel will qualify him for for disability w/o great difficulty. during the application process can he use the sick and vacation time that he has accumulated over the years he has worked or does he have to be w/o an income. He is 60 if this makes a difference and has been on the same job for many years.

Can't find different application asking for doctors information

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

I am confused about 2 applications I may have. I completed one initial aplication and submitted but I know there is a dfferent application that I did not finish and I cannot get back to that application. I have my code from the first application asking for the doctors infomation, but did not complete this application. The one I completed was restarted by "return to saved application" but this is not the application I started with the doctors information. Looking for the other Doctors information application I started. I have the code.

Getting married affects my ssdi and my childs off of mine

If I get maried my husband has only mimmunal work, due to the fact of his medical history, plus my daugther needing an adult (other than me due to my dissability) to help take care of her when I am not able, he will be taking care of us the majority of the time and of course the everyday home duties that easliy get out of conrtol.
I need to know how announcing a common law marirage would work and if he could get a check to get someone to tlook after us so, he might search or obatin a job. Will us getting married affect my daughter's check drawn off me, my check and by how much?

SSDI to SSI conversin and my best SS caliming strategy

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

My 58 Year old wife is on SSDI. I understand that when she turns 66 (her FRA) SSDI converts to SSI.
I will be turning 62 this year and am investigating SS claiming strategies. It appears that the best would be for Me to Claim and suspend when my wife turns 66. Then she can claim a spousal benefit on my record. Then When she turns 70 she collects her benefit. I collect my benefit when I turn 70.
Can I employ this strategy and have her SSDI not convert automatically to SSI when she turns 66?
