Hi Ronald,

It just means that they are finalizing their decision. You should be hearing something from the SSA in the near future. Best of luck!

Hi There,

It means they are still working on your application, so they have not made a decision yet. When they do make a decision, you'll receive a letter in the mail stating if you were approved or denied and why. Best of luck!

Hi Yvette,

If you received a denial letter, then that is the decision that was made. There should be instructions to appeal the decision in the letter.

Saw this on my claim,

Authorized on: N/A
Your claim has been disqualified. In order for your eligibility to be reconsidered, submit an Appeal Form (DE 1000A) and mail with your Notice(s) of Determination.

Hi Stephine,

If you log into your MySSA account, you may find some information there. Or you can try to asking your lawyer if you worked with one!

Hi There,

That seems like a long time. You may want to check in with a rep from the SSA. If you are working with a disability attorney you can also see if they have an update regarding that. Best of luck.
