Hi there,
It may, however you may want to contact the SSA regarding this as they would have detailed information about your particular case.

I have a question. Hello I’m still working as part time. I’ll receiving ssdi benefit in July.
I was informed to ssdi application last December. My paycheck was biweekly. My company inform us that our paycheck date changed biweekly to semi monthly. Will I get in trouble?

I worked an eBay store while on ssdi and I did not report it. I did make under 1000 a month. Should I make an appointment. I am worried.

Hi Dan,

It is always important to be 100% transparent with the SSA. It's a good idea to schedule an appointment and let them know.

I'm on SSD, I know I can go work part time and make up to $1170 a month and continue my benefits, but can I work out of my home state?

If you accidently make more than the allotted amount for a month, what happens to your benefits?

HI Boyd,
If you receive SSDI, then the SSA may count that month as as successful trial work period month.

Hi Patty,
it would depend on what benefits you are receiveing, if you have SSDI, then you may be able to earn up to 850 a month without a change in your benefits. If you're receiving SSI benefits, then the SSA would deduct one dollar for every two that you earn.

I am drawing SS Disability, been on it almost 11years now, but, it still isn't enough for me due to meds etc. I was offered a job working 20 to 25 hrs a week making 8.50 an hour, but, I would like to know the this will affect the 693.00 a month that I receive now.
