Did I get approved

Did I get approved

Hi Janet,

Hi Janet,

We are not affiliated with the SSA. You will have to contact them to check. Their number is 1-800-772-1213. Or if you worked with a lawyer at all they typically find out before you, so you may want to contact your lawyer too.

I need a copy of my SSDI stating that decision has not been determined. Still waiting for the decision from the court.

Hi Ellen,

Hi Ellen,

We aren't affiliated with the SSA so we wouldn't be able to do that. You should contact the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 and speak with a representative from there.

How long do I wait to see if

How long do I wait to see if I'm approved and when is a check.mailed

Hi Nancy,

Hi Nancy,

It really depends on the situation. Your lawyer if you have one will be able to give you a better understanding, because Social Security lawyers are paid first before the claimants.

Check online and it said that

Check online and it said that a decision has been made on my ssd claim and that a decision for ssi was denied. What could this mean

Hi There,

Hi There,

It means that you were not approved to receive SSI benefits. However, it is always possible to re-apply and try again.

Best of luck!

Your appeal for Disability

Your appeal for Disability benefits is currently processing.
What does this exactly mean?

Hi Lisa,

Hi Lisa,

It means they are still working on your appeal! Best of luck!

Mary
How do you appeal a claim.

How do you appeal a claim. Received denial today. Benign brain tumor in a spot that the will not touch, spinal fusion L2 to S1, nerve sleeves tumor also in spine , balance issues and leg numbness. I was told most are denied first time. But the reason listed on my decision letter stated that I can still walk, stand and carry so I don't meet the requirements. So maybe if I get lucky the spot in my brain will grow.

Hi Mary,

Hi Mary,

To appeal a denied claim, you will need to submit a request for reconsideration within 60 days of your denial notice.

my case was recently

my case was recently suspended due to documents not received but I submitted the following documents that was needed and now it's saying pending is that good or bad how long will it take for my money to come

Hi Jenay,

Hi Jenay,

It's neither a good or a bad thing. Pending means that the SSA is still reviewing your case. If they need any more documents from you they will reach out. Best of Luck!

I checked my online status

I checked my online status today and it shows decision made”approved” and letter of benifits explination mailed. When should i expect to see benifits deposited into account or information available online

Hi Thomas,

Hi Thomas,

Congrats on being approved! You should receive money into your direct deposit. You should contact your attorney in the near future to see if they received payment as well. The SSA always pays legal fees to the SSA first.

2 out of 3 done with my review does that mean I will be approved

Hi There,

Hi There,

It's doesn't mean that you are approved or denied. They are still processing your claim. Best of luck!

Adrian
I applied for both

I applied for both disabilities and Oct 29 I was denied for one and Oct 31 just says processed. What does processed mean.? I was gonna appeal but not sure if I need to.

Hi Adrian,

Hi Adrian,

Processed just means that your case is still pending. I would wait until you have received both decisions before deciding whether or not to appeal.

Kita MATTHEWS
I'm trying to find out

I'm trying to find out about my SSI that's being process

Hi Kita,

Hi Kita,

We are not associated with the SSA or the federal government so we cannot answer that question. Maybe try making a mySocialSecurity account to view updates, call the SSA at 1-800-772-1213, or call your lawyer/advocate if you have one to see if they have any updates. Best of luck to you!

My decision for as I was

My decision for as I was denied but my.decision for ssd says have been processed what does this mean

Hi Deidre,

Hi Deidre,

It looks like to me that you applied for both SSI and SSDI and you were denied SSI benefits.

When it says that your SSDI benefits are still processing, it just means that the SSA has not made decision on whether you will be approved or denied.

Best of luck.

Mindee
I was wondering if I could

I was wondering if I could check on the desition if I am approved or if I'm denied?

Hi Mindee,

Hi Mindee,

You should be able to on your MY SSA account. If you have a lawyer, you should check in with him too. If approved, lawyers are always notified first by the SSA.
