I receive retirement from my job will that affect my disability?
It may, however you may want to contact the SSA regarding this as they would have detailed information about your particular case.
What is the sga amount for 2018
I have a question. Hello I’m still working as part time. I’ll receiving ssdi benefit in July.
I was informed to ssdi application last December. My paycheck was biweekly. My company inform us that our paycheck date changed biweekly to semi monthly. Will I get in trouble?
You may want to contact the SSA regarding this, you can call them at 1-800-772-1213.
I worked an eBay store while on ssdi and I did not report it. I did make under 1000 a month. Should I make an appointment. I am worried.
It is always important to be 100% transparent with the SSA. It's a good idea to schedule an appointment and let them know.
I'm on SSD, I know I can go work part time and make up to $1170 a month and continue my benefits, but can I work out of my home state?
It should be okay because Social Security is a federal and not a state program.
How many hours can you work when receiving Disability in a month.
The number of hours does not matter. Your monthly income cannot exceed the 2018 SGA limit.
If you accidently make more than the allotted amount for a month, what happens to your benefits?
If you receive SSDI, then the SSA may count that month as as successful trial work period month.
I'm soon to be 64 and I'm on disability ss. Am I allowed to work at all a d how much am I allowed to make?
You can find out some more information about that here:
how do I find out how many hours I can work on disability
it would depend on what benefits you are receiveing, if you have SSDI, then you may be able to earn up to 850 a month without a change in your benefits. If you're receiving SSI benefits, then the SSA would deduct one dollar for every two that you earn.
I am drawing SS Disability, been on it almost 11years now, but, it still isn't enough for me due to meds etc. I was offered a job working 20 to 25 hrs a week making 8.50 an hour, but, I would like to know the this will affect the 693.00 a month that I receive now.
How long does it take to receive an answer on my question
It won't affect your SSDI as long if you are within the 2018 SGA limit.
How many hrs. Can I work and not affect my disability benefits
It's not actually hours worked, but income earned. You can earn up to $1,180 per month and still qualify for SSDI.

i am on ssdi and I am paid $11.00/hr and work 20hrs wkly. I noticed there will be an extra pay period in march. this extra pay period in march will put me over my sgi for march. what do I do so this doesn't effect my benefits?
I would report this to the SSA--it'll likely trigger a trial work period but so long as you don't earn more than SGA more than nine times over the next five years, you'll be fine.
I get check for learing disabled for 703.00 and a ssi check for 53.00 if i wanted get job to work where i would only bring in 250.00 week could i do that with out my check being took

You can work around 35 hours per week at that wage while still qualifying.
I’m on disability and it’s not enough to live off. If I babysit a child in my home for 18 hours a week and earn around $180 a week, will my benefits be reduced in any way?
Most likely no, so long as you're on SSDI and not SSI.
